1. Pigeons sent to A.P.P. must be rung with Australian Issued 2010 life rings and be registered in entrant/owners name.
2. Pigeons must arrive at A.P.P. Loft between Jan 2nd and Jan 31st 2011.
3. Pigeons must be paid for in full prior to being entered into A.P.P. Loft.
4. For every 2 pigeons paid for by any individual or syndicate 2 spare/ additional pigeon can be sent /entered at no cost.
5. Mega Electronic clocking system will be used for A.P.P. race.
6. Pigeons will be rung with a electronic ring on arrival at A.P.P. Loft.
7. A.P.P. will have 20 paid positions from 1st to 20th.
8. Entry fees are $550.00 + 10% G.S.T. $55.00 making a total of $605.00 per paid pigeon. To qualify for a spare a entrant/owner must pay for and enter 2 pigeons making a total of $1210.00.
9. Should a paid for pigeon be lost either settling in A.P.P. Loft or in training your spare bird will automatically take the lost pigeons place.
10. If all 3 of your pigeons are still here in the A.P.P. Loft one week prior to the night of basketing for the race and you wish to send/enter your spare you can do so by paying the full entry fee for your spare prior to basketing night for the race you wish to send / enter your spares so you can do so by paying the full entry fee for your spare prior to basketing night.
11. Spare birds will not be eligible to win any prize money until fully paid for.
12. A.P.P. race will be conducted on a Sunday in late September or early October 2011. The date may be varied by A.P.P. Management at its discretion Eg. Bad weather, clashing.
13. A.P.P. Race will be a independent liberation and held from approx 500-600kms.
14. A.P.P. Management will arrange a panel of 3 respected fanciers who will have the authority to withhold any pigeon from being sent to the actual race should they consider the pigeon incapable of completing the 600 km race satisfactorily.
15. All prize monies will be paid out within 14 days of the actual race.
16. Any objection to the A.P.P. result must be submitted in writing to A.P.P. management within 7 days of actual race.
17. A.P.P. management will be final arbitrator of all or any dispute or objection.
18. A.P.P. Loft will accommodate a maximum of 750 pigeons in 2011 (Spares included)
19. Pigeons will remain in owners name for the duration of stay in A.P.P. Loft.
20. At completion of A.P.P. race all pigeons will be returned to owners at owners cost. Pigeons not returned or claimed by owners will be disposed of by A.P.P. management at its discretion. Eg. gifted to new fanciers, juniors, charity auction.
21. Transport to A.P.P. Loft. Pigeons are sent at owners cost in full.
22. By entering the A.P.P. race all owners or entrants are hereby agreeing to and complying with above terms and conditions.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• If 500 pigeons are paid for a prize pool of $200,000 will be competed for. It is possible that it may be greater if spares are entered and paid for.
• If 500 pigeons are paid for there will be two lead up races with prize money paid out to the first 20 birds in each lead up race. 1st to 20th will each receive $500.00.
• The lead up races prize money will come from the over all prize money pool which will mean that the money paid out in the race will be $20.000 less.
• A.P.P management recommend the pigeons should ideally by 25 - 30 days old when entering the A.P.P loft for ease of settling.
• A.P.P management do not recommend vaccinating for Pox prior to entering the A.P.P loft.
• All pigeons in A.P.P loft will be vaccinated at the appropriate time by A.P.P.
• In 2008 the guaranteed prize pool was $100.000-which was increased by $8,800-by 22 spares being entered. In 2009 the guaranteed prize pool was $136,800 which was increased by $18,800 by 47 spares being entered.In 2010 the guaranteed prize pool was $152,000 - Which was increased by $16,000  by 40 spares being entered.
